CARON PALMER

Caron Palmer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist. Caron is skilled at approaching therapy from an integrative lens utilizing attachment theory, the Gottman model, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has expertise working with individuals, couples, Military, Veterans, First Responders and their families who have experienced complex trauma.

As a Certified EMDR therapist and EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training,
Caron trains current and future clinicians in EMDR, Sand Tray and EFT at Insight Counseling & Training Center and at the Chaplain’s Family Life Training Center at Ft. Cavazos.

Caron has been married for 43 years, has 4 grown children and is the proud grandparent of 6 grandchildren – 5 boys and 1 girl.
